Arts & Crafts: The Great Create
Join the sixth annual The Great Create: By Artists. For Kids., held in support of the Nasher Sculpture Center’s youth education programs.
Each spring, The Great Create transforms the Nasher Garden into an interactive, art-filled space for kids and parents. Children can put their hands to work in engaging projects under the instruction of artists from North Texas and beyond, as well as live entertainment and kid-friendly food.
The event is geared toward middle school-aged children and younger, with older teens invited to serve as “art ambassadors” to assist the artists. Children 2 and under attend for free.
Proceeds from The Great Create directly benefit the Nasher Sculpture Center, bolstering the museum’s efforts to provide outstanding youth education programs throughout the year. Last year, more than 13,000 students from 200 schools were impacted by programs ranging from after-school opportunities to free tours and workshops.
This venue is wheelchair accessible.
