Girls and boys alike should giddy-up and go to this tribute to females who helped found the great frontier. Upcoming exhibits include the Sixth-Annual Heart of the West Art Exhibit (opening in October), featuring artistic creations of women from across the nation. Children’s educational programming is tied into each exhibit on display, educating the next generation about women’s contributions to the world. Tours of the museum will showcase both pistols and pink-and-gold cowboy boots (and more!), showcasing the life of the American cowgirl.

This venue can accommodate children with special needs.
