Activities: Stage West Theatre offers summer camps for ages 7-18. The camps cover everything from creative play and classic staged stories to improvisation. Additionally, our Summer Conservatory program is a one-of-a-kind program for teenagers and young adults that want to pursue a professional career in theatre arts.

Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit (Ages 7-12)
June 5-16 9:30am-12:30pm Cost $300
In the fairy tale criminal justice system, the characters from fairy tales are represented by two separate yet equally ridiculous groups. These are their stories. Dun dun. Students participate in the theater process from audition through rehearsal and scenic the end of the 2nd week the students will perform their completed show.

Poetry, Performance and Change(Ages 13-18)
June 12-16 (1-4pm) Cost $150
Addressing social issues through personal stories and performance. A free form workshop with elements of writing, performance poetry, poetry in music and elements of stand up comedy.

Broadway Musical Review (Ages 7-12)
June 26-30(9:30am-12:30pm) Cost $150
Students learn musical theatre audition techniques, while forming short scenes and songs from Kid friendly Broadway musicals!

Play Creation: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them w/ (Ages 7-12)
June 19-23 (9:30am-12:30pm) Cost $200
Inspired by the world of Harry Potter, students invent their own Fantastic Beasts and use them to create a staged short play at the end of the week.

Summer Improv Troupe (Ages 12-18)
June 19-30 (1-4pm) Cost $300
The summer has begun...time for some improv! This two-week long improvisation intensive training guides students through games and techniques designed to create an original performance in the Studio at Stage West complete with audience interaction.

Summer Conservatory 2017 (Ages 14-22)
July 10th-July 28th M-F 9am-4pm/Cost $550
An exploratory intensive for students that includes training in the areas of acting, singing, dancing, on-camera study, scenic design, and technical theatre. Bonus: Each participant gets the opportunity to take part in a professional photo shoot, and will take home a complete set of agent-ready headshots. This year we will be centering our work around War of the Worlds: A Panic Broadcast.

*The conservatory program requires a $50 costume/registration fee.
