Activities: Discover, enjoy and experience our priceless environment. Connect with nature this summer on our 289-acre sanctuary, encounter animal ambassadors, investigate nature-based topics, and more! Nature Art Camp will give young artists unique opportunities to create their own art inspired by nature and live animals in several different mediums. Keeper Camp 1 & 2 offer campers the opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes, hands-on adventure with our education and exhibit animals.

Did you know that spending time in nature plays a vital role in child development? The Heard’s mission is to inspire children to discover, enjoy, experience, and restore our priceless environment. Register for a Heard Nature Camp today and give your child the gift of a connection to nature this summer. Heard Summer Nature Camps will feature opportunities to delve into the wonders of nature on our 289-acre sanctuary, encounter animal ambassadors, investigate nature-themed topics, and more!

In Nature Art Camp, young artists will follow in the footsteps of great artists such as Audubon and Monet with unique opportunities to create their own art inspired by nature and live animals. Each day, a different type of media will be explored. All art supplies are included.

Keeper Camp 1 & 2 offer campers the opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes, hands-on adventure with our education and exhibit animals. Learn about the animal ambassadors that live at the Heard and what it takes to properly care for them.
